Mark Andersen

Incremental Controller & CFO | Accounting Consultant | Financial Statement Analyst | Business Advisor | QuickBooks Coach

Mark graduated from the University of Houston – Clear Lake in August 2007 with a Masters of Science degree in Accountancy and has been a Certified Public Accountant since December 2008. He has spent over ten years in public accounting specializing in financial statement audits for small to mid-sized privately-held companies. Most of his clients lacked the appropriate policies and procedures, which led to inaccurate and unreliable accounting records. As the client’s auditor, there was a limit to the amount of help and guidance that could be provided. In the summer of 2016, he answered the call to serve the companies he once audited in the capacity of interim controller and CFO. In the spring of 2018, he formed Know Your Number Accounting PLLC and became a member of the Pearland Chamber of Commerce. His experience serving as an interim controller and CFO along with his skillset in public accounting, specifically auditing uniquely qualifies him to help small businesses get their accounting records in order and to understand the results.
